Any person having Fixed Deposit Account with
the Bank may deposit the relative Fixed Deposit Receipt with any
branch of the Bank (irrespective of the issuing branch) free of
any charge. The Bank in addition to giving the service of safekeeping
of such receipts would accept and carry out the standing instructions
to collect/credit the periodical interest on the receipts, arranging
the renewal of the Fixed Deposits at maturity etc. This service
would be given free of any charge. Out-of-pocket expenses like
postage etc., if any, incurred would be recovered from the customers.
Besides Fixed Deposit Receipts issued by the Bank, some other
approved securities can also be accepted by the branches for safe
custody with the prior approval of the Head Office.
