Cash Warrants are issued when the amount is payable at the office of issue. Unlike a draft, they are not drawn on a specified banker or office and are payable at the office of issue and negotiable at all other branches of the bank.

Cash Warrants are issued at the instance of the Bank to make payment for goods supplied/services rendered to the Bank by parties within Bhutan.

Cash Warrants, like drafts, have a validity period of 6 months. Such warrants will be negotiated only after due revalidation from the issuing branch.
