Bank of Bhutan Ltd. launched the following Coronation & Centenary Loan Schemes as under:

1. Education Loan

Purpose	To meet financial assistance for pursuing further studies.
Eligibility	Parents/Students/Guardians who can provide collateral and guarantee. Salaried employees with a minimum of 3 years confirmed service and with Guarantee.
Loan Limit	Up to 10 times the Net Take Home Salary incase the Loan is not collateralized. Loan Ceiling of Nu.1.000 million per Student for a maximum of 3 students per family if the loan is fully collateralized.
Rate of Interest	9% per annum.
Coronation Scheme Bonus	7.5% for 1st Year 8.5% for 2nd Year

2. Pensioner's Loan

Purpose	General
Eligibility	All Government pensioners maintaining Pension Accounts with BOBL. Minors/Survivors not entitled for the Scheme.
Loan Limit	Maximum of Nu.50,000/- or 10 times pension amount (Whichever is less)
Rate of Interest	10% per annum.
Coronation Scheme Bonus	8.5% for 1st Year 9.5% for 2nd Year

3. Ladies Plus Loan

Purpose	General requirement for ladies
Eligibility	All Ladies of 20 years and above
Loan Limit	Salaried Ladies - Nu.100,000 or 10 months salary (whichever is less) Non-Salary, but Guarantor good to amount involved - Up to Nu.50,000/-
Rate of Interest	10% per annum.
Coronation Scheme Bonus	8.5% for 1st Year 9.5% for 2nd Year
